"The Office" is a piece created
especially for 
in 1994 by the
celebrated American modern-dance choreographer, MARK MORRIS. Many people
interpret "The Office" as containing implicit references to the war in
Croatia and in Bosnia, while others may see it as suggesting universal patterns of
oppression and vulnerability. Still others see it as a dance celebrating life by carrying
on in the face of overwhelming hardships.
