with an outline of the APPROXIMATE location of
the third Union Station.
Head from one of the statues that adorned the top
of the remaining arch. Submitted by Dennis
Eichensehr who obtained it from a man in 1978
who saved it when the station was torn down.

Mural of the third Union Station facade
painted on the side of a building in the Short
North Arts District, several blocks north of the
original station. The mural was funded by
"Citizens For A Better Skyline" and "American
Electric Power". The Artist is Gregory Ackers.

Structure reminiscent of the facade siting on a
"cap" over Interstate 670. When completed, this
and a similar cap and structure on the opposite
side of the street will help create a continuous
flow between the Short North Arts Distrct and the
Arena District.
