History

The history and description by Rowlee Steiner of the three
Union Stations found on this website are taken from one
chapter of a 400 page manuscript titled, "A Review of
Columbus Railroads" by Rowlee Steiner. The entire 400 page
manuscript is in the Archives Library of the Ohio
Historical Society. The single chapter from which the
history and description pages on this website were taken
is titled, "Columbus Union Depot, 1851-1956" and is in the
Columbus Metropolitan Library.
