I don't know why people closing in on retirement would create more work for themselves, but we did!!
We expanded the garden in front of the house on the far side of the sidewalk.It looks great from the kitchen window. Really adds to the look of the yard.
ABOVE: The new area is over 50 feet long and varies between 4 an 16 feet wide. We raised the bed for more curb appeal. The black hose is the automatic watering system. Waiting on the weather to stay warm so we can add more plants and top off with mulch.
RIGHT: We used an entire dumptruck of topsoil
