Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast
Introduction With Raven and Lucasarts working together to make a game, how can you go wrong? The answer is that you can't go wrong. Positives The game was everything I wanted it to be and even more so at times. The graphics are nice, the sound is great, and the single player game is wonderful. The game seems to last longer than Elite Force did and the levels are amazingly different from each other. From amazing swamps to caves and outdoor/indoor city scapes this game had everything. Close combat and far away sniping, loud battles and sneaky quiet levels, you can't ask for much more. And to give this game a much better boost than the last version (which I also loved), I actually used the lightsaber most of the time in the last half of the game. And that is a huge compliment since I don't like to use he lightsaber. Negatives Sure we can find a few negatives in this game. First, for me, learning to use the lightsaber is still too hard. I had to cheat to defeat the very last guy and that was on the easy settings. Second, there are a few areas or puzzles that I could not figure out for the life of me. I had to use an online manual to find my way through. Thankgoodness it wasn't allways my fault. I got hit with one of the bugs that needs patched in the game. Thankfully, I found a cod I could type in to bypass the area I was stuck because of the bug. This bug is suppose to be fixed in the first patch. Conclusion Overall I give this game a GREAT rating. The story line is pretty good, the single player game is pretty good, and the sound, graphics are pretty good. Now if I can just learn how to use a lightsaber, perhaps I would like mult-player pretty well too! Review Points (50 points = average game)
