A Work in Progress
Jim's 1970 Tempest Project

Fall 2001
I have owned this car since 1992. Purchased in non-running condition, it has come a long way after sitting for more than 8 years. So far I have concentrated on repairing the floor pans and rust holes in the windshield opening, installing all new brake components including Stainless Steel lines, freshening and installing a 1970 WT 400 engine, replacing worn suspension components, and installing what interior components I can without having the body work done. I have also restored the whole dash, all wiring harnesses, rebuilt the steering column, installed a '68 GTO Hurst Dual-Gate Shifter, and modified the original A/C housing, all pictured in links above.
We're Finally Roadworthy!
In the near future I will outline and post pictures of bodywork, painting, differential build, and performance numbers so check back sometime soon!
