Sunset at Sea

Walking along the beach,
  whispers heard from the surf.
Memories that linger,
  when friendships fade.
Clouds pass overhead,
  dreams vanish.
Tears neverend,
  oceans abound.
Starfish clinging,
  under a pier.
Sins never let go,
  tear apart a soul.

Gentle wind blowing,
  to the shore.
Jesus rustles,
  to be noticed.
Sailor far away,
  from his home.
Lonely as a
  ship at sea.
Tide rolls in,
  darkness approaches.
Prayer said,
  for forgivness.
Seagulls circle,
  angels rejoice,
Holy spirit enters,
  sunset at sea.
