One Great Nation

The Atlantic crashes,
  into Maine’s rocky shore.
As snow flakes dance,
  on New York City.
Sun shines,
on the citrus state.
While frost awaits,
  a Texas morning.
Rocky Mountains,
  stretch across the plains.
Arizona’s desert,
  whistles a kind-hearted wind.
Puget Sound,
whales swim free.
California’s eclectic,
  landscapes.
Prayers ring out.
  through the land.
Hearts need mended,
  but a sprit still soars.
Oh dear God,
  let our churches be full.
Our prayers fill,
  your skies.
Love us all,
and let us love each other.
Pray to regard,
  our neighbors beliefs.
Lend a hand,
  to someone in need.
So our children,
  will model our example.
