The Friends of the Knox County Park District invites you to join our team! 
Parks are critical components of a community's infrastructure,
just like water lines, police protection and roads.

The volunteer Board of Commissioners of the Knox County Park District will place a modest 0.35 mill levy on the ballot in November of 2008.
· The proposal, if passed, would represent the smallest county-wide levy
· The owner of a $100,000 Auditor-valued home in Knox County would pay $11/year; 0.91/month; 0.03/day
·  Senior citizen owners of a Auditor-valued $100,000 home would pay $8.00/year
