Tournaments/Matches Looking for Teams:

Heritage Panther Duals (The Heritage Cup)

Hilliard Heritage Middle School is looking for teams to participate in a six team dual meet tournament.  The meet will take place on December 14th 2002.  Each team will wrestle five dual matches on three mats.  The meet will start at 9:00am.  Awards will be given to the top two teams.  We are looking for full roster teams so we can get every wrestler five matches if possible.  Interested teams should contact Mike Geisz at coachgeisz@aol.com or by calling Heritage Middle School at (614) 921-7500.

Southwestern Ohio Wrestling Coaches Association's 2003 Junior High Tournemant (Jan. 24 & 25, 2003)

24 team double elimination tournament. 6 places scored and awards. Finals on T.V. Room for only a few teams. Entry deadline is approaching. Entry fee $160.00 with a discount for early payment. Dixie H.S. Tourn. (2/1/03)

Dixie High School will be hosting a 10 team Olympic pool tournament on Saturday, February 1st. We still need 1 to 2 teams to fill out the line-up. Every one should be getting five matches. KETTERING FAIRMONT SEEKING HOME DUAL(S) AND FRESHMEN EVENTS

Kettering Fairmont (DI near Dayton) is seeking HOME duals on the following dates:
Dec. 20-21, 2002 or Jan. 9 or Jan. 25, 2003.  We would consider signing a 2-year contract.

Also, we are looking for freshmen events, specifically a tournament/quad on Jan. 11, 2003.  We could also host a freshmen quad that day if teams would be willing.

North Canton H.S. Open Mats

Would you please run this for as long as you can, on the page. Open Mats starting April 2nd, every Tuesday night at North Canton High School from 6:00-8:00 PM. Everybody is welcome, all ages.

BRECKSVILLE FREESTYLE CLUB:

This will be the third year for the Suburban Freestyle League. The Seasons Freestyle Club will be a new member of the eight-team league. Its purpose is to create a new, exciting, and concentrated source of off-seasonwrestling for the northeast Ohio area. In order to compete at the dual meets you must be present at the scheduled practices. There are NO weight classes. Coaches from each team will match wrestlers up accordingly (age/weight/experience).

AGES: This club is recommended for wrestlers in Middle School and High School.

PRACTICE DATES: April 10, 2002 - will serve and the first day of practice. ? Practice will be from 6:00-8:00pm. We will practice on Wednesdays and Thursdays until the first competition (4/18/02). Once competitions start, we will practice on Wednesdays and compete on Thursdays.
