Who We Are

Toni & Marc are husband and wife Habitat Ambassador Hosts working with the
National Wildlife Federation in central Ohio.  Toni is also on the Education Workgroup for the
Ohio Invasive Plants Council.  They work as part of a growing team of National Wildlife Federation
volunteers to help the general public create wildlife habitat in their yards.

They offer a variety of educational presentations to train about the use of native plants
and basic conservation, provide educational displays for exhibits, and also offer periodic scheduled
tours of their yard. The Summer 2007 Parade of Wildlife Habitats drew over 1,000 interested people
visiting 5 different certified habitats.

Marc &  Toni also train interested people so they can join National Wildlife’s team of volunteers and
share their enthusiasm with others.

Toni and Marc designed a Wildlife Habitat in a small, typical residential yard (100 ft X 50 Ft). Their habitat
was certified by National Wildlife Federation in 2003.  One example of bringing diversity to their yard
by adding many Ohio native plants and eliminating chemicals:  2 kinds of butterflies in 2001 went to 34
different kinds in 2006 with representation from all 5 major butterfly families.
