• The Zaurus ZR-5000 Here is my purchasing advice on the 5000: If you are able to find one....Buy it! Provided of course the seller is not selling for more than $200. The 5000 is a great model, and while they last, a great bargain. Yes, it lacks a back light, spread sheet and a few other applications like Z-Pager, but most of these applications can be purchased and added on if needed. So the only critical decision is: Can you live without a spreadsheet and back light? If the answer is yes, I say buy it! The 1meg of memory is not quite the issue because, unlike the ZR-3XXX series, you have a PC Card slot, so you can add memory cards. The unit remains one of my favorites! Good luck!
