- Now multiple programs can be loaded to the internal memory (like a hard drive). Just touch an icon to launch an add-on program.

- Allows small work groups (in conjunction with optional Sharp PC mail software) to exchange messages using a PC as an electronic post office. Includes remote access of messages and PC files. Support for AT&T EasyLink and other public online services is also available.
- PCMCIA Type II Slot
- Industry standard PCMCIA slot provides the ability to add on I/O devices like PCMCIA Fax/Modems, Pager cards, FLASH memory, and more. Even share these peripherals with a Notebook PC. Drivers for many popular cards are built into the Zaurus.
- Infrared Beaming
- Connect to a PC, Macintosh, PC printer or even another Zaurus without wires/cables.
