Will of James Couch , Carpenter of His Majesty's Ship Adamant of East Stonehouse , Devon

I, James Couch, carpenter of His Majesty's ship *** Adamant , David Sruos (?) Esq. Commander, being of a * sound and dispoding mind and memory and residing the daugurs (days?) of the soul and the ************** of this hasuitory life. So for aviding courteous after my *** death and make publish and declare my last will and testament in manner following (that is to say) first ********* my soul to God that gave ******* my body to the earth or sea as it shall please God to order and as for all my worldly estate give and bequeath and dispose thereof as following in that is to say all and singular all my pay and wages, sum and sums, of moudy sands tremendous goods chalets and estate shall be whatsoever due, owing or belonging to me at the time of my decease, * give devise and bequeath the same unto my beloved wife, ***** Couch, now of the parish of East Stonehouse in Devon and do orderly nominate and appoint *** Abraham a Joseph and Joseph Joseph of the Boroughs of Plymouth my sale executors of this my last will and testament worldly revoking fourer and other wills testaments and deeds of gift by me at any time heretoforward and I so ordain and ratify these pretenses to stand and be for my last will and testament.
