Miscellaneous places along West Broad Street

West Broad Street in Columbus, Ohio used to be a very busy shopping destination for suburbanites around Columbus. Over the years though, many of the larger stores have closed, and with the slow demise of Westland Mall, this area is quickly becoming a run-down area.

Media Play that used to be a Children's Palace. Media Play closed in 2005.

Unmistakable castle facade, along with the 3 arches that every Children's Palace had.

This is not my picture, but it is another ex-Children's Palace.

Again, not my picture, but this was an alternate name for Children's Palace. Note the towers on either side.

Closed Toys R Us. The front of the building is in terrible condition.

The sign in the front door is almost unreadable because of sun fading.
