Late Victorian Riding Habit

A fully-lined double-breasted habit made in black cord based upon the "Ladies' Tailor Suit" from The Voice of Fashion, volume X, No. 39, Winter 1896 as reprinted in the Dover Publication 59 Authentic Turn-of-the-Century Fashion Patterns, by Kristina Harris, Dover Publications 1994.

The following Simplicity Patterns pieces were used as the starting base for modifications:
    Simplicity 8375 -- skirt and sleeve pieces
    Simplicity "New Look" 6733 -- jacket body and collar pieces.
