Generation

These HBE researchers are the
intellectual "offspring" of the first generation. Because
most Generation 1-ers mentored students over several decades, the second
generation includes scholars who are at different stages in their
careers. I recognize this variation by dividing Generation 2 into
cohorts by decade.
