If it is against the rules and laws in the Realms of Despair it is that way in the Guild of Thieves.

     The Rules of the Guild of Thieves (as taken from the Official Guild Guide):

    DO NOT put down or use rude behaviour or language
    or show overall disrespect towards other players and members of the guild.
    DO NOT take items not useful to you from the Chamber of Treasures

    DO NOT take equipment for non guilded alts.
    We do not allow shared characters, so please do not share them.
    One last rule, use overall respect.


Try to remember when you act, do and are out and about in the Realms, your words and actions reflect the Guild of Thieves.

    Membership Ethics:

 

    Assist other guild members when asked (and if possible).
    Assist in cr's if asked (and if possible)
    Be respectful to your leaders, and acknowledge that their decision is final on any issue

    that is put before them.
    Act in a manner that reflects the guild's beliefs and character, and not to dishonor the guild

    in any way that would lower it's standing among society.
    Do not practice the art of thievery with the shopkeepers of Darkhaven. They are respected

    citizens and should be treated as such.
    Sharing characters is absolutely a NO NO.

    Read the noteboard every time you log on. You never know what exciting news may be

    there.
    This does not even need to be said - but be polite
