Why
ARC is good for all Avatar Thieves. For those who are new to running,
ARC teaches you how to tank
different kinds of mobs, helps you to build up your skills circling,
using poison scrolls or other types of scrolls to down the mob your
are fighting, as in Dpass. It also helps you to learn how to lead and organize
runs and get to know the various mobs Avatars can fight. Begin by
accompanying other ARC'ers on runs to see how it's done.
Take notes, listen to the run leader and soon you'll be leading
your very own ARC runs. For
the more experienced runner, ARC gives you the chance to refine your
leading, tanking As
you move up in the ARC levels, you have a better understanding of how
mobs are run, how to handle a run group and eventually have a chance
of becoming ARC-L (leader). |
There are 5 levels, ARC I, ARC-DP, ARCII-III, ARC-L
|
ARC-I
|
|
ARC-DP
Solo
all Solo all Dragon Pass dragons (except Black Rose), have a guilded witness on hand to observe the solos, include the witnesses name on your note. |
|
ARC-II
|
|
ARC-III Any 3 of the following mobs,
your choice: AAbby, Black Rose, Jade, Mordred, Zyla, Darko, Onyx, Sin/Olsen, McManus (Any 3 of the 9) |
|
ARC-L
Requirements for this level:
You
organize and lead runs. Give feedback to the Leaders co-heading ARC and help in decision making for ARC changes and upgrades. You are
chosen for this position by the rest of the ARC's and stay in office for a
period of (3) months. The position is rotated often to give a chance to all ARC-L
at participating

1) In order for an ARC run to count for ARC points at least 2 other
guild-members (no outside people) need to come along.
Except for of course ARC-DP (as it's a solo) and ARC-I (here bringing
1 other guildmember along is sufficient) 2) A kill needs to be done for each person there and a kill for the guild, whether the ppl there want their share or not, if they don't want it, feel free to donate them to the guild, just as long as the kills are still done. So for each ARC-I run at least 3 kills need to be done, for ARC-II and up at least 4 kills. 3) As stated in the previous one, 1 guild kill needs to be done and hence 1 full set needs to be donated to the guild. This donation is done in the usual way, that being in a Sack of Loot with a note per template for claiming stars 4) To claim ARC points, both the run leader (person claiming the points) AND one of the other runners need to send in notes as per template 5) I think this is commonly known and quite obvious but better put everything on paper right. If you wish to claim a run for ARC you need to *lead* the run, the whole run, this meaning you bring the people to the mob, you organize the happenings at the mob, basically you do all the organizing:) which is....leading When you've run a mob, send a mudmail to both Angelea and Tepheroth so stars can be assigned and the dbase can be updated as soon as possible. |
