The Revisionist History Series

In August of 2000, I posted a short story called "Revisionist History"  and someone asked me what happened next.  Well, quite a bit as it turned out. The original story is now Chapter 1.   Reposted 10-28-2000.

This needed a lot of help.  Thanks to my Wonderful Husband for beta reading, to my Understanding Boss for his help with the military details and some great ideas, and Shayenne for her comments.

The "Revisionist History" series is now available as a zine from Unicorn Press.

Fifty years after Voyager's return, Jake Sisko tries to find the truth about Janeway, Chakotay and the events surrounding their homecoming. Told in 7 chapters.

Chapter 1:  Heroic Hearts

Chapter 2:  These Barren Crags

Chapter 3:  I Am Become A Name

Chapter 4:  Unequal Laws

Chapter 5:  Part Of All That I Have Known

    Chapter 6:  A Frolic Welcome

Chapter 7:  Beyond the Western Stars

Soul Song

In the 6th year of the journey, Chakotay experiences a crisis of faith, when the ship faces a crisis of a different kind.  Told in several parts due to length.

And Be One Traveler

Reset

There must be some explanation for all the bobbles in continuity.

A Little Diversion

A bit of fluff and nonsense, inspired while I was on vacation, about a space station, a game of pool, and a long, cool woman in a black dress.(11/27/00)

Late in the Day, Without Grace

Kate Mulgrew said it's "too late in the day" for Janeway and Chakotay to get together and "complete it with grace."  Perhaps.  Perhaps grace is overrated. (12/28/00)

Three Friendship Drabbles

The title says it all. (1/4/01)

Explorations And Their Consequences:  A Tale Told In Drabbles

Inspired by early spoilers for the upcoming episode "Human Error."  To paraphrase one of my favorite songwriters, I'll fix you, TPTB - I'll write a story.   (1/14/01)

Epiphany

A response to a contest challenge:  write a J/C story of at least 200 words in which the letter "r" does not appear.  Set in the second year of Voyager's adventure in the Delta quadrant. (2/3/01)

Settling In

Chakotay's first night as Voyager's second in command.  (3/17/01)

Final Approach

One thing could mar Voyager's triumphant return to the Alpha quadrant.  A little bit of silliness. (3/25/01)

Balcony Scene

A story inspired by spring vacation.  The title pretty much describes it. 4/23/01

Iron Neelix

Neelix enters a cooking contest.  Drabbles; parody of a truly one-of-a-kind cable TV show. 4/23/01

Course Correction

A response to Rocky's "Die, Seven, Die" challenge  5/2/01

What Goes Around, Comes Around

Inspired by incorrect spoilers for "Natural Law."  C/7 didn't happen (then), but what if it had?  What if two people make a mistake? 5/2/01

Oasis

A response to a challenge from Djinn, based on the ENT ep "Crossing the Desert" - take two characters, plop them into the middle of sand and heat, and see what happens.  Who else would I write about?
