NEWS 29 Akroeg 365- Voice Moridazi Neus resigned as the Voice of the Council. He announced he was traveling to his parents for an unspecified length of time to read and conduct research. He will be sorely missed. Jadiandra Maidryon will be acting Voice in his absence and Lilathe tansley will be acting Minister of the Interior. 124 Shorka 364 - 2nd annual Dirge festival was held. Many festivities were held including scavenger hunts, a date auction, Bard contest, tourney, box picking, a race up Greater Fist, prayer contest, item auction, and more. 357 Dolefarin 363- Lord Vorclaf asks the council to send three emissaries into Ulf'hara Keep in order to ask Lord Sirolarn if he would give himself up peacefully. Minister Selthanos, Minister Amras and Council Emissary Marietta enter the keep to pass Lord Sirolarn the message. Lord Sirolarn refuses to give up the crown and becomes enraged, taking Marietta hostage. As Lord Sirolarn rushes to leave the room, he slits Marietta's throat with a poison dagger. Marietta dies of the wound shortly after. Lord Sirolarn rushes by everyone waiting outside the keep and attempts to evade capture by running to Ilithi. He is stopped at the northern platform to the gondola by Minister Amras, Minister Selthanos and Representative Pureblade with help from others and was arrested by Commander Jorta. Lord Sirolarn is now sitting comfortably in the dungeon of Ulf'Hara Keep awaiting trial. 336 Dolefarin 363- In order to find out exactly what happened during the Darkensi ransom situation, a special council has been formed by council members, Kzin, Cineris and Lilathe. They are to determine exactly what happened and if any Council Member wrongdoing occurred during this incident. 324 Dolefarin 363- Lord Vorclaf comes out of hiding and wishes to place Lord Sirolarn, who is now Prince, under arrest. While the Council hasn't given their full support to Lord Vorclaf at this time, they still acknowledge his birthright to rule and will assist in getting Lord Sirolarn out of the keep so he can be fairly tried. Vorclaf, when asked about Sirolarn moving the Council from Leth Deriel to Dirge, replied that some mistakes were made and he will see that they are undone. 296 Skullcleaver 363- Members of the council are contacted about the capture of Darkensi. The council pays a ransom for his release. In exchange, Darkensi removes all enemy forces from Dirge and retires from the war. He also believes that the Council was somehow behind his kidnapping and has vowed revenge. 285 Skullcleaver 363- The annihilation of Sorrow and Prayk at Stones. 270 Moliko 363- A sneak attack launched by the Council to retake the town of Dirge is foiled by Darkensi's involvement and use of poisoned arrows. 264 Moliko 363- Efforts by Council and fellow Zolureans are successful when they finally destroy Sorrow's forces and barricades on STR north of Leth Deriel. Supplies flow freely into Crossings. 240 Arhat 363- Commanders Mordiazi Neus and Pureblade DeClon are summoned to receive their commands at the Prince's Keep necessitating attempts to leave Dirge. After several attempts and many lives lost a successful escape via moongate was made. 238 Arhat 363- Council focuses combat power and town treasury in the effort to reopen the STR north of Leth Deriel, to facilitate the resupplying of friendly forces in the Crossings area. 237 Arhat 363- Attacks by outside forces and escapes by citizens from within Dirge prompt the movement of two Sorrow's companies into the Dirge 234 Arhat 363- Darkensi visits Dirge and gives the Council his terms of occupation. These are that no one is to leave or enter the town of Dirge without his consent, no one is to attack Sorrow's forces around Dirge and no one is to open a moon gate or set a moon beam within Dirge. The council decides to abide by the terms until it becomes obvious that staying behind enemy lines in our occupied town becomes less of an intelligence asset. 233 Arhat 363- Numerous Elpalzi units begin movement beyond the Reach. A company of troops move off the Northern Trade Route and camp outside of the gate leading into Dirge. 215 Arhat 363- By order of Prince Sirolarn, the offers of commissions as Unit Commanders within the Zoluren Armed Forces to Mordiazi Neus, Voice of the Council, and Pureblade DeClon, Kaldar Representative to the council.
