......We are long gone, so you probably do not know us. But as 1955 graduates of USHS we were extremely proud of the spirit, sportsmanship and class that that last year's basketball team exhibited. I hope you had the chance to tell the team that they have not only inspired current Upper residents, but also many who have settled in far off places.
...... The '55 class members who still live in Upper watched, appreciated and felt great pride as your team surpassed all expectations. But, I want you to know that those of us who no longer live in "The Indian Village" were equally inspired, We listened to every second of your big games on the Internet, and we were filled with joy as your team beat one foe after another.
