Thank you for your interest in Bryton Drive. We are a Columbus Ohio based band dedicated to making your event a memorable one. Our individual experiences have given each of us the insight into pleasing all types of audiences.

The members of Bryton Drive have been friends as well as fellow musicians and performed together abroad and in the Central Ohio area for the past 25 years. Highlights of our performances include, concert tours, nightclubs, corporate events, and festivals, just to name a few. We offer you a high-powered live band that is loaded with energy to ensure the success of your particular event.

Our vision and mission is to provide our customers with exceptional quality entertainment services tailored to its customers needs. We provide you with much more than a typical Band. This makes our group the best entertainment choice for your event. All of the members of Bryton Drive have fused their personalities, talent, and experience to create a high-energy group that is fun to work with and makes your event one to remember.

The following paragraphs will introduce you to the members of Bryton Drive and provide a few details of our general performance standards.

Meridith Evans (Lead Vocals)

Meridith has been performing since she was a child. At the age of seven, exposure to music came from singing in church, and working in theater. She then studied music at Wright State University. Her entertainment background includes local groups, fund-raisers and weddings. With her gospel background, Meridith has shared the stage with Yolanda Adams, and Donnie McClerkin just to name a few. As the newest member of the band, Meridith’s "No Nonsense" style, and exceptional talent, is a welcome addition to Bryton Drive

Dave Blakely (Saxophone, Flute, Vocals and DJ Services)

Dave has performed as a Musician & DJ for 25 years concentrating his efforts in the Central California and Midwest regions. His career in the business has also included positions in Hospitality Management, and Entertainment Director. Dave’s ability to elicit audience participation from audiences of all ages continues to be a mystery.

Doug Blakely (Drums and Vocals)

Doug’s entertainment experience has spanned a 22-year period. A native of Columbus, he has performed in numerous groups and played a variety of musical genres. He also toured internationally during the 80’s. Doug’s favorite artist’s include, Buddy Rich, Dave Weckl, Steve Ferrone and Luther Vandross just to name a few.

John Anthony (Guitar, Vocals & Musical Director)

John has played a vast array of musical styles from the studio to the stage with local and national talent including the National touring company of "A Chorus Line". He is a 1980 Capital University graduate in Jazz performance. John has performed in local show bands, dance groups, and small combos. He is continuing to enjoy the Art and Drama of live performance with Bryton Drive.

Darrell Jones (Bass Guitar)

Darrell is a native of Columbus and has been performing for 30 years. He studied music at the Jazz City Workshop in Columbus. He performed in several local bands before going to New York to tour with Patty Labelle, Billy Preston, and Shalamar. Darrell’s hard-hitting bass lines and exceptional rhythm keep the "Drive" in Bryton Drive.

Geoff Cameron (Keyboards)

Geoff started his musical training as a guitar player in school but decided he enjoyed keyboards better. Continuing his training, Geoff studied Jazz at The Ohio State University. He graduated in fall of 2001 and took his talent to the public performing jazz around the city. As the newest and youngest musician to Bryton Drive, he brings a great new style to the band. We are happy to have him as part of Bryton Drive.
