the people and places they left behind.

history and diversity
of quiltmaking in Native
communities, examines how quiltmaking strengthens community life, and
pays
tribute to the artists who continue to create within this expressive
cultural tradition.
This site provides information about the eleven major
territories in Ohio such as:
- economic patterns
- population trends
- migratory patterns
- historical information
The site is set up so that comparisons can be made
between the different territories.
Community Involvement - Amish & Mennonite
Sunshine Quilt Auction - Annual event sponsored by the Sunshine Foundation - A Mennonite-affiliated, non-profit agency providing residential and support services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
Ohio Mennonite Relief Sale - Located in Kidron, Ohio, this annual event features an auction of over 150 Amish and Mennonite quilts. Proceeds from the sale go to Mennonite Central Committee (MCC). MCC is the relief, service and development agency of North American Mennonite and Brethren in Christ Churches.
