| Since you are here,
I am guessing that you are interested in a little bit about me. So here
goes. I love the outdoors and spend as much time as I can in it. Over on
the left I am sitting on my canoe, at Madison Lake State Park. The photo
was taken by Moinka. She is, a wedding, and portrait photographer.
I volunteer for Battelle-Darby Metro Parks, I am a student member of the ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers), and love to travel. My favorite trip was to Alaska, where I spent roughly three months there exploring, and burning lots of film. I have done some commercial work here and there, but is not truly what I would like to do. My ultimate goal is to do some work for National-Geographic Society. Some friends of mine think that I am crazy because of all the time I spend canoeing, or walking around in the woods, just the other day one of them mentioned that at the rate I am going I will be living in a shack out in the woods somewhere. That would not be so bad, except for maybe the shack part, it will probably need to be a house. I have always liked photography, but until I had to take a basic photography course in school I never really knew how much I liked it. Photography is a way for me to capture what I see, and put you there with me. At least try to put you there. Some one might say that photographers are artists, in a way yes. Artists can usually draw, or paint, or something along that line. I can do none of the above. Some times people try to put meaning be hide what the artists did. All any artists from my point wants to do is sell something, when they made it there was no meaning be hide it. They liked it so they created it. One of the reasons I like to create photos, for the reaction from another person, the expression of how well they like the shot. |

| I spent a summer in Alaska, which is probably the best thing that I have done those far in my life. I had a great time, and learned a lot about myself, as well as others. Here I was hiking up Dragon Fly Creek. So I decided to take a photo. | ![]() |

I do not seem to have to many photos of myself other than of my trip to Alaska. In this one Debbi (A friend I met while I was staying there) and I went on a day trip in Denali National Park. We worked right out side of the park. The antlers I am holding are from a caribou. They are extremely heavy, I can not even imagine carrying those around on my head. | ||||
